Looking for something to do that doesnt require you to be concerned at all about the temperature? Too hot? Too cold? Indoor entertainment is the way to go.

This week you can watch republicans, be soothed by a flute, get on the C-SPAN bus, grow radishes, celebrate the centennial some more, hear Marshall tell stories, watch terrific athletes, have fun with transportation, pitch your book, go to an art fair, see cool cars, go to a western birthday party, get scientific, go fishing, meet bees, hear gospel, celebrate Scott and speak up for yourself.

This column includes activities and programs in the Greater Phoenix area that have free admission. If you are looking for fundraisers, seminars, workshops, and other community programs that have an admission charge, or where donations are expected, I have a separate column for those. I call them "Phoenix Area Programs, Fundraisers & Events" and you can find those listings in my blog. They tend to cover a wider range of dates than a week, because advance registration is often required.
